Live your life

 

Just do what you want Linda. Live your life. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile, says Franklin Jones. 

What is everyone getting involved with? Even if someone has done something that cannot be done. Everybody makes mistakes. Only you decide whether to forgive someone or not. 

We have seen it in the media over the past few weeks, a lot of gossip about whether Linda de Mol is back with her ex partner: Jeroen Rietbergen. As if that’s our business. She should know that herself. Or not? 

Of course the media can write about it. She knows how it goes in the media, she owns a media company. She is famous and the sister of a major media magnate. So yes, everything about her and her family is closely monitored. Fame also has a downside and that goes for all famous people. Everything that does not go well is widely reported. 

Not easy

If you have a relationship with someone from 2007 to 2022, it is not so easy to immediately distance yourself from it. What do you do when someone you love does things you never expected? That is a very difficult decision.

What if you can condone it and others can’t? Do you leave that person or help him or her? Because maybe that person has a big issue and needs help. And if you distance yourself, you go through a grieving process that no one understands if they don’t experience it themselves.

Media is ruthless

It’s quite something when you’ve been together for 15 years. You both are famous and everyone is looking over your shoulders. Many feast on your misery while you are completely destroyed.

As a man, you are often put down in the media when they judge you. Just look at Johnny de Mol, Marco Borsato and Waylon, among others. By the way, what stands out about this? They’re all men getting killed in the media. Reminiscent of our blog about Johnny Depp. The media is ruthless towards man.

What we find cool is that Bibi Breijman didn’t care about all that shit from the media. She remained behind him. She didn’t let herself be fooled and chose her own happiness with Waylon. Well done, you have remained true to yourself and your family. 

Super power

The same goes for Tanja Jess. Charly Luske is cheating and admits it. She continues to support him, stands up for him. Then you are very loyal to your husband and family. Not everyone can do that, of course, because it’s tough when your partner betrays you. But we think it’s a super power if you can do that. You don’t care and you forgive him, you fight for yourself and your family.

It is in our nature to judge everything and especially such things. However, our opinion is not important at all. Our opinion doesn’t count. It’s really admirable if you don’t succumb to media pressure. That you stay close to yourself. That you don’t do what they expect of you. Not doing what they think you should do. Yes, let them do it themselves in their own relationship if something like that happens.

Always do what you want

Linda de Mol should just stay with Jeroen if she wants to. Almost all men cheat. That’s how it is. Many women also cheat. That’s just how life is. You decide whether you accept it or not, no one can decide that for you. At least if you’re confident enough. If you really love someone, you don’t care about all those opinions and negativity. You choose for yourself and you stay close to yourself.

Follow your heart Linda. Only you know what is right for you. Your children are grown and living their own lives. You are left alone. We get you. How the hell are you going to find someone else who knows you so well. Dust yourself off and try again, do your own thing. Stay with him. have guts. Above all, do what you want.
